Shuhan (Tony) Jin is a Senior Engineering Manager at Twitch, a subsidiary of Amazon Interactive Video Service (IVS), where he supports the IVS Video Clients team. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Shuhan is a talented engineer who enjoys diving deep to solve problems and is always learning how to be a more effective and compassionate leader. Shuhan is passionate about media, music, gaming, and audio, and he is currently hiring client developers for the Twitch/IVS video team. He is looking for talented engineers interested in working with bleeding-edge technologies, solving live video challenges at massive scale, building the next generation of entertainment, or being immersed in a creator-first culture. Shuhan has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Stanford University. He has worked at Box as a Senior Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer & Manager, where he led the Preview and Elements team. He also built out the first version of Box Annotations. Shuhan stayed technical while managing the team and was promoted to Staff Software Engineer in early 2018. At Twitch/IVS, Shuhan supports the IVS Video Clients team, which builds the video player SDK that enables low latency playback and the broadcast SDK that improves broadcasting quality of service for Twitch and IVS. The team sits at an intersection of consumer and enterprise software and builds both for the largest live video entertainment platform in the world with over 1 trillion minutes of content watched in 2020 and for a rapidly growing AWS business. Shuhan is proficient in Web, Android, iOS, AWS, Javascript, Mobile, and UI. He is an engineer at heart and enjoys diving deep to solve problems.
